Study Visit Fee

Staff from HUMANE Member Institutions and Residential School Alumni benefit from the members rate of €1,260. Non HUMANE Members will be charged €1,860. The fee includes catering within the programme (lunches on Thursday and Friday, dinners on Wednesday and Thursday plus coffee breaks). It does not include travel or accommodation.

Non HUMANE Members may attend if they meet the following criteria: they are from a higher education institution that delivers degree programmes in at least two of the three Bologna cycles (BA, MA, doctorate). Non-member applications are subject to review before acceptance. The Secretariat will apply the correct rate.

Accommodation

You are responsible for your own accommodation.

PLEASE NOTE: The Study Visit will run from Wednesday through Friday across two venues: the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and the University of Copenhagen. We recommend booking a hotel near the CBS, as the Wednesday and Friday sessions—as well as Thursday evening’s dinner—will take place nearby. For Thursday’s session at the University of Copenhagen, you can easily take a metro to the venue.

While our local host has recommended the options below, Copenhagen offers plenty of additional hotel and Airbnb accommodations. We suggest using booking platforms like Booking.com to find competitive rates for your stay, but it is often worth comparing third-party prices directly with the hotel’s website before finalising your reservation.

Scandic Falkoner Hotel

Falkoner Alle 9, 2000 Frederiksberg. This is the closest hotel to CBS, just a 6-minute walk away.

Meals and Social Programme Information

Lunches and coffee breaks will be taken at the times indicated in the main programme.
The Study Visit dinners included in the programme will be held in various venues. Details will be sent via email to registered participants.

Phishing and email scams

There is an increasing trend for seminars and events to be targeted by phishing and email scams. If you do receive any communication that looks suspicious please contact the HUMANE Secretariat. HUMANE never works with or promotes any third party travel companies in its seminar organisation.

How to reach the Copenhagen Business School (CBS)

Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is one of Scandinavia’s busiest international hubs, with daily connections across Europe and worldwide. The airport is located approximately 11 km from the city center and CBS.

Copenhagen Airport to CBS by Metro
Metro line: M2 (Lufthavnen – Vanløse)
Get off at: Fasanvej Station (closest to CBS)
Travel time: approx. 25–30 minutes
Metro station: Terminal 3
Frequency: Every 4–6 minutes during daytime; 15–20 minutes at night

Tickets must be purchased before boarding. Tickets are valid on metro, S-trains, buses, and local trains
Airport to city centre (zones 1–4): approx. 36 DKK

Travel by Train
All international and domestic trains arrive at Copenhagen Central Station. From there, continue by metro or S-train towards the CBS area.

Central Station to CBS by taxi:

Travel time: approx. 10–15 minutes. Estimated price: approx. 110 DKK (EUR 15)
