The local organiser has suggested hotels in the neighbourhood of the venue, which are shown in the following list. The best rates can usually be achieved through online hotel providers such as booking.com, etc. although it is often also worth checking the aggregator’s rates with the hotel’s own rates before finalising your booking.

Getting to Padova
From Venice Airport “Marco Polo”
The nearest airport is Venice “Marco Polo”. From here you can reach Padova in the following ways:
First take a regular bus (line 15) from Venice Airport to Mestre train station and then a train from Mestre to Padova (it takes approx. 40 minutes). Train information: here
From Venice Airport to Padova Train Station, every 30 minutes from 07:00 to 22:40. Details: here
A taxi to Padova takes about one hour. Our local organiser suggests two companies:

From Bologna Airport ‘G. Marconi’
From Bologna Airport you can reach Padova from Bologna Central train station. There are regular shuttles from the airport to the train station, a monorail and taxi service. The train ride to Padova takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Train information: here

From Milan Malpensa Airport
From Milan Malpensa Airport you can reach Padova from Milan Central train station. There are regular trains to Milan Central – the Malpensa Express. The direct train ride from Milan Central to Padova takes 2 hours. Train information: here
From the train station to Orto Botanico:
There is a tram that takes you to Orto Botanico to Palazzo Bo in about 10 minutes. There is only one line, the direction is ‘Guizza’ or ‘capolinea sud’ and the tram stop near Palazzo Bo is called ‘Prato’.
