Covid 19 Important Information

Certificate – Vaccination / proof of recovery / certified negative test

The use of the Passe Sanitaire, is strictly enforced in France . Please always have your vaccination certificate or proof of full recovery or certified negative test result (not older than 48 hours) with you. We recommend that you always have a hard copy as well as a digital version on your smartphone. You will need to show these upon arrival in the hotel, at the Collège de France, in all restaurants as well as for other logistical matters.

Collège de France requirements

The Collège de France requires us to be in possession of a Passe Sanitaire – either proof of full vaccination, a negative test result which must be no older than 48 hours or proof of recovery from Covid.

Face mask requirement

Consistent with the current regulations in place you must wear a mask in the Collège’s buildings. Masks are obligatory in many places in Paris including hotels, restaurants and the public transport system which includes transport to and from the airport.


You are responsible for your own hotel reservation.

The local organiser has suggested the following hotels in neighbourhood of the Collège de France. However there are many hotels in Paris and we suggest that participants consult websites like booking.com to see what is available. Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport :

RER line B, stop at “Luxembourg”
Roissybus to “Opéra”, and then bus 21 or 27, stop at « les Ecoles ».

Orly airport :
Take Orlybus to “Denfert-Rochereau” and then RER B to “Luxembourg”.

By train:

  • Gare du Nord : take the RER line B, stop at “Luxembourg”
  • Gare de Lyon : Take bus n° 63 to stop “Collège de France”
  • Gare Montparnasse: Take bus 89 or 82 to stop “Luxembourg”
