Staff from HUMANE Member Institutions and Residential School Alumni benefit from the members rate of €4,550 (for non-members the fee is €5,150 – see below). The fee includes the two webinars and the residential programme in Rome (including accommodation for 4 nights from Sunday 17 to Thursday 21 May 2026 and catering within the programme). It does not include travel. Priority will always be given to HUMANE Members. Non members may apply if they meet the following criteria: they are from a higher education institution that delivers degree programmes in at least two of the three Bologna cycles (BA, MA, doctorate). Non-member applications are subject to review before acceptance and may only be put on a wait list. The Secretariat will apply the correct fee.

Applicants are required to articulate their personal motivations for participation in the programme in a one-page motivation letter, as well as their personal leadership challenges in relation to major organisational changes in which they are involved, and on which they would like to work during the programme.

The letter of support must be from your Head of Administration or equivalent senior manager. Their title will vary but may be the Registrar, Secretary-General, Chancellor, Director of Administration, Chief Operating Officer or Vice-President, for example.
