Welcome

The Winter School Alumni Network was set up after a first follow up seminar in Karlsruhe in October 2003 by participants of the first Winter School.
It was further developed with the help and support of the Winter school steering committee and HUMANE and is now a separate branch of HUMANE.
The WSAN has now over 180 members from 61 universities in 14 different countries.
The aim of WSAN is to

• pursue the activities started by the Winter School (to develop the leadership potential of fast-rising administrators by making them fully aware of the importance of integrating academic matters with finance, human resources and ICT in the elaboration of university strategy and of the meaning of strategic management in a European context) 
• create a network among the past and future participants of the Winter School to further exchange ideas, experiences and increase the knowledge and skills of alumni
• to provide a platform for contacts in the alumni’s professional field and career development

 
One of the main activities is the organization of one or two seminars a year on special topics. Other activities range from the organization and support of study visits to the set up of working groups.
If you have any further ideas, contributions, feedback or presentations to offer, please contact any of the steering committee members.
We will only be able to keep up and further develop our network with the participation of as many as possible of all of you.
